Daniel recently found out that he has a small rupture in the disc between his L4 and L5 vertebrae. It's been giving him a lot of trouble for the past few weeks. Chiropractics and good, strong pain killers have not worked to alleviate the pain. Yesterday we went to see a spinal surgeon. Based on the internet reading, we were hopeful that Daniel would be scheduled for back surgery to relieve pressure on his sciatic nerve. But after viewing the MRI, the doctor decided to try a steroid epidural and physical therapy. Lord willing this will work wonders for Daniel and he'll be back up and running closer to normal in a few weeks.
