Purex Insider

I can't remember where I saw it, but I found a link to sign up to become a Purex Insider.  It promised that each person would get a chance to try out different products from Purex.  I'm not a brand snob when it comes to laundry detergent.  And a while back I had a few coupons that let me try the Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheets.  Since I loved them, I decided that the chance for free laundry products from Purex would be well worth my review time. 

A few weeks ago, I received a wonderful free sample package in the mail.  Years ago, I was Print Production Manager and printed/designed different mail pieces.  Because of that experience, I still get excited when I see a really nice mail piece come to my front door.  I would share pictures, but my daughter used it to help build a prototype for one of her inventions!  But that's neither here nor there. 

The package contained a small sample of Purex Complete Crystals and a sheet outlining the benefits of the laundry softener.  And, for the frugal mom and tester a coupon for a free full sized bottle!  Since laundry is a never ending chore in our house, I was able to put the test sample to use right away. 

The first thing that impressed me was the smell.  It's a mild, fresh scent that did not overpower my extremely sensitive nose!  Since I get headaches from overpowering scents, this was a huge bonus.  Per the information, I also found out that this softener did not add any oil to my clothes.  That means that they will last a bit longer and my towels will still be absorbent!  In addition to that, it's added with the clothes at the beginning of the cycle.  That ensures that I will not forget it!  Since I normally forget to add my dryer sheets in, well, the family is very appreciative!

After using it for a few weeks, I can say that I will certainly purchase this again. I rarely use the recommended amount, which means that this will last longer than the label recommends.  It's also 92% natural. I know it's not all natural, but it's close!
