... Here are our Halloween pictures. The pumpkins were a ton of fun to make! I hate doing the carving and these pumpkins that we picked up were harder to carve than the ones we've had before. We were toughing through it until I had a brain storm. I've been purchasing a collection of metal cookie cutters. I needed to put stars on our bat pumpkin and decided to try the cookie cutters. I pulled out the meat mallet and hammered the cutters into the pumpkin. It was a bit tough to get them out, but the effect was wonderful! For the Mickey Mouse pumpkin, we used biscuit cutters and the same technique.
