Meeting the Great Grandparents

We tried so hard to get up to North Carolina and introduce Brenna Jean to her great grandparents not long after her birth. Then they got sick and Brenna went in the hospital and all kinds of things went down.  To make a long story short, we were finally able to make it at the end of October.

It always cracks me up (in a good way) to see Daniel's grandmother with the kids.  She calls all of them "it".  In Brenna's case, "It's a pretty one!"  And then she says something else that I love to hear - Youins.  "Youins come back now." I love that word, Youins.  Just thinking about her saying it makes me smile.
