I took the camera outside to get some pictures of Sarah and this is what I found. Yup that's right. The kid was about 20 feet up in the crape myrtle. She was mainly supported by a dead branch. It was all I could do to act calm and collected. Because 7 year old kids think it's pretty cool to freak out their parents. So as she was climbing down, branches started breaking. My stomach was in my throat as I stood there watching. I told her that she couldn't go up that high because the only large branch supporting her was dead. That's when I was informed that dead branches are the strongest. Yeah, that's why they were breaking as she descended to a safe level!
