My Lovely Brenna

Brenna makes us laugh so much!  Here she is serenading her little brother on the car ride home. If he even gives a hint that he may decide to cry our protest, Brenna breaks into the weird chatter at the beginning of the video or with some encouragement, she'll go into a real song and make it her own!

 This slide is 6 ft. high. Brenna had been dying to go down it, so we asked Sarah to take her down.

Brenna loved it, but really wanted to go down by herself.

Since Sarah was playing with another little girl, I talked Daniel into letting her try it.  It was hilarious.  He stayed at the top and I waited for her at the bottom.

As you can tell, she loved it!  We did this over 15 times with her climbing all the way up by herself.  Daniel had to pull her away so we could leave!

Ashton's and the Washing Machine

This was so funny. Ashton thinks that the washer is fascinating. While he's trying to figure out the spin cycle, he briefly sings his latest hit "DooWop". In addition to that, you will see the "flash face" he's developed after the paparazzi used their flash photography on him. It's about 30 seconds in. He hasn't figured out that his adoring fans can capture video without the flash!

Just Pitiful!

Ashton has started the "I'm so pitiful" cry. He's a pro at it. I managed to get a little of it on video. Don't you just love the fake cough after the cry?

Macho, Macho Man

Ashton is getting stronger every day. He's taken to pulling my sewing stand all around the floor. I got some dark video of him working on his biceps.

And Now He Crawls

For the last few months, Ashton has been kind of crawling. Normally babies start out with the commando crawl where they pull themselves along with their arms. Ashton totally ignored this. He figured out that crawling entailed getting up on his hands and knees. He just could not figure out how to get his hands and knees working together to move forward. So instead of really crawling, he would get up on his hands and knees and kind of fling himself forward. Once he landed on his stomach, he would get up and do it again. It was slow and inefficient so he didn't do it for more than a few flops.

Well, the awaited crawling has finally started! He was at Grammy's house on Saturday and it all just clicked. And now, he crawls everywhere! I've mentioned before that Ashton loves making noises. When he crawls, he slaps his hands on the floor. You'll see it in the video. It's so cute!

I've mentioned before that Ashton has the funniest little giggle. He does it all the time. Before the camera battery died, I managed to get some video of the giggle. He's also covered in one of the Gerber teething biscuits. It's so cute!

Look, It's Hannah!

Sarah has decided that she wants to try out for Liberty Idol next year. She already has her first song picked out. This Saturday, she decided to spend ALL morning practicing it in her room! Last night, I couldn't get it out of my head.

I managed to capture some of her practice before she caught me! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
