Our New Battle

Last week, we found out that the Daniel's mom, Nancy had a growing tumor beside her stomach and one on her ovary. She was sent to an oncologist to review the findings and they are not ideal. This Monday, we are heading to the hospital to stand beside our family as Nancy undergoes surgery. She will be in the hospital for at least a week. If they have to remove sections of her colon, she may have to stay for two weeks. Recovery will be tough, but Nancy is a fighter and I believe that she will come through it just fine.

All that I've written above is what Sarah will know by the end of today. If you would like to find out more, please come talk with Daniel or I. And pray. We need your prayers four our family. Pray for the surgeon who will remove the tumor. Pray for a miracle as far as testing is concerned. Pray that Nancy heals quickly and without complications. Pray for Danny (Daniel's dad) as he supports the love of his life while she goes through this. Pray for the kids and grand kids, that we can provide the support that Danny and Nancy need. These next few weeks/months may be very tough for us all.
