We spent part of our break in Columbia. It was great fun. Daniel, Sarah, Ashton and I went to the Columbia Zoo. We spent two days exploring the zoo and attached gardens. Sarah was so exhausted at the end of each day.
I so enjoyed seeing the gorillas. I've never seen a live one before and now I understand the reason people fall in love with them. They are powerful but sweet at the same time. It's so calming to watch them. It's sad to know that people are trying to eradicate them from the wild in order to collect their hands for medicinal items.
